Volunteer – and Get Involved

As a Member of Impact100 Sonoma you can be involved as little or as much as you like.

For a list of available committees for members to join:  Committee descriptions 1.11.12

Join a Focus Area Committee (FAC) – by joining a FAC,  Members have the opportunity to fully participate in the grant-making process by reviewing proposals and attending site visits for applicant organizations.   FAC Members receive orientation and training about our grant-making process, have the opportunity to read Letters of Inquiry, evaluate Full Proposals, make site visits and help determine the finalists for each Focus Area.

If you wish to serve on a FAC, you will be asked to complete and sign a form stating that you have read and understand our FAC Policy. This disclosure form will ask you to determine if you have a strong affiliation with any of the nonprofits submitting a grant application for your FAC. If there is potential for a conflict of interest within your assigned committee, you may be asked to select another committee on which to serve.

Other Opportunities – Women who do not have the time or opportunity to participate in the FAC process may volunteer to help plan events, social gatherings and the Annual Meeting where the membership will vote to select the organizations to receive the grants.  You can also volunteer to help promote Impact100 Sonoma to other women and increase our Membership.

Over time, we hope our Members will become involved on a more personal level with the non-profit organizations they learn about through their membership in Impact100 Sonoma.
