FISH is in need of drivers, dispatchers, and people to pick up surplus food once a week from our local stories. Hanna Boys Center is seeking volunteers for its December Open House on Sunday, December 6th – to help with the food and refreshment serving lines from 10:15am to 2:15pm. They expect approximately 400 community members for the complimentary lunch, Santa photos, musical entertainment, and holiday craft bazaar which is held from 11am to 2pm. The Jewish Family and Children Services of Sonoma County needs volunteers for one of their Seniors at Home programs, Caring Connections, which provides intensive support to those with a history of mental health issues. The goal of this program is to help these seniors improve engagement in their daily lives by having a volunteer visit one hour a week. No special training or experience is required.
