2016 Finalists Make their Case – and Oh What a Case They Made!

It will be a very difficult task for members to make their selections among the Impact Grant and Community Grant finalists for 2016.  Presentations were made by representatives from all 26 finalists on Saturday at our Meet the Finalists meeting held at the Vintage House.  What may have looked like a long line-up of presenters was anything but.  The presentations were excellent, compelling, heartwarming and sometimes funny, giving the member-only audience an excellent overview of the fabulous proposals on the ballot.

Ann Reder, Executive Vice-President, and Lynne Lancaster, Chair of Grant Review Committees, led the event asking us to hold our applause after each finalist presentation, but that instruction seemed impossible to follow. They all deserved immediate applause.

Online voting has begun and all members should have received two emails from electionbuddy.com with full instructions on how to vote.  Voting will end on May 19, so members should vote as soon as possible to ensure their favorite finalists have their vote.

A special note to Impact100 Sonoma members: If you have questions regarding the voting process, see the voting instruction page. You can read about the finalists and their programs in the Members’ Portal of the Impact100 Sonoma website. A snapshot, a summary, and the full proposal are available for each of the finalists.

Impact100 Sonoma will award $276,000 in grants at its May 21st Grant Awards Ceremony to be held at Hanna Boys Center. The celebration event is open to all Impact100 Sonoma members and invited guests.

Once again, we extend a special thanks to our generous sponsor, Union Bank.
