The Emmy-nominated documentary Seeing Brave tells the story of three philanthropic women of conscience who started international nonprofits, including Sonoma resident Anna Bimenyimana, owner of Sonoma's Bon Marche Thrift Store. Anna fights malnutrition and starvation in her native Rwanda through health clinics and garden projects, which she funds with proceeds from her shop's sales and donations. Check out the trailer for this inspiring documentary.
The evening will begin with a reception and wine for purchase, followed by a screening of the film and a Q & A with Anna, facilitated by Michele Dale, co-founder of G3 Sonoma and event co-sponsor.
Tickets are ten dollars and are available by clicking "Register" below. Reserved tickets for Impact members, friends and family must be purchased by September 15. Please be sure to complete all steps of the registration process--your attendance is not confirmed until you receive your registration confirmation by email. Print the registration confirmation email and present it for entry at the event.
Proceeds will benefit the Sebastiani Theatre Foundation and Anna's nonprofit, and will pay for the licensing fee to screen this film at both Adele Harrison and Altimira Middle Schools in Sonoma.
