Our NextGen Continues to Grow!

Impact100 Sonoma 2018 NextGen members (from left to right) are Sarah Carroll, Casey Chavez, Nicole Lee, and Anya Everett.

This month we are proud to welcome four new members of the NextGen Program, designed to inspire and empower young women to become actively involved in serving our Sonoma Valley community through Impact100. These women are eager to contribute their unique experiences, skills, and community perspectives to create positive change in Sonoma Valley through our collective giving circle. Please join us in welcoming this next generation of Impact100 Sonoma members and be sure to introduce yourself to them at the Annual Meeting on January 27th where they will be introduced.  We are thrilled to have them on board!

2017 NextGen members welcome our new Cohort at the November Murphy’s Gathering.

Our 2017 NextGen Cohort recently gave a warm welcome to these new members at the November 7th Happy Hour at Murphy’s Pub. 2017 NextGen members are now completing their first year with Impact100. These women have contributed significantly to our organization and to the community through their participation on Grants, Membership, Diversity & Sponsorships, and Communications Committees. They have also helped tremendously with member events and activities, and have been interviewed on KSVY Radio on behalf of Impact100. We are especially pleased that 2017 NextGen Cohort member Angela Ryan has joined the Impact100 Sonoma Board as Assistant Communications Chair.

These Impact100 members have been instrumental in shaping the NextGen Program as a successful initiative here in Sonoma Valley as well as providing a model for other Impact100 chapters across the U.S seeking to diversify their membership. We are grateful for their contributions and leadership.

The NextGen Program is made possible by individual donations from our members. If you would like to help sponsor the program, we are beginning to fundraise for the 2019 cohort and any amount of contribution is welcomed. Please contact Mary Marcussen, Diversity & Sponsorship Chair, for more information at: nextgenprogram@impact100sonoma.org.
